Rules for Returns and Refunds

We're glad you picked Tsuru. We take pride in our attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship here at Tsuru. Our valued customers know that we only offer the best goods and services. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, we offer a straightforward return and refund policy to provide you with peace of mind. 

30 days to return:

You can return any item to us within 30 days of the purchase date.  You can return an item as long as it is new, in the same state you got it, and in its original package.  When you return an item, please include the original order confirmation or packing slip.

Your full name 

Order number 

Reason for return 

Photos, if the item is damaged or defective 

Once approved, we will provide you with return shipping instructions. 

2. Return Conditions 

  • Returned items must meet the following criteria: 
  • Be in unused, original condition 
  • Include all tags and original packaging 
  • Be sent back within 7 days of return approval 

Please note: We currently do not offer free returns. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the product is faulty or incorrect. 

3. In-Store Returns 

TSURU operates exclusively online. 
 We do not have any physical retail locations, and returns cannot be made in person. 

4. Refund Timelines 

  • Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the outcome. 
  • Please allow up to 5 business days for processing once the return is received. 
  • Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment and may take an additional 2–3 working days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank. 

5. Exchanges 

Currently, we are unable to process direct exchanges. If you would like a different size, colour, or product, please return the original item and place a new order. 

6. Returning a Gift 

Gifts may be returned under the same conditions as standard purchases. 

To initiate a gift return, please provide: 

  • Proof of purchase (e.g., order number or receipt) 
  • Item in unused condition with original tags 
  • Refunds for gifts will be issued to the original purchaser’s payment method. 

7. Faulty or Damaged Products 

If your TSURU item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing: premiumleathercraft@thetsuru.com

Please include: 

  • Order number 
  • Clear description of the issue 
  • Photos of the fault or damage 

If the issue is verified, we will offer a full refund or replacement and cover return shipping costs. 

8. Additional Terms 

  • Gift wrap and original shipping costs are non-refundable. 
  • International orders: Customs, duties, and import taxes are non-refundable. 
  • All return and refund decisions are subject to final approval by TSURU. 

This policy is compliant with applicable consumer rights and does not limit your statutory protections.
